International – Education
Our club was one of the initial sponsors of a student of the School of St Jude in Tanzania. https://www.schoolofstjude.org/
We sponsored our first student – Esuvat – from Year 1 to the completion of her medical degree. Esuvat is now providing medical services to her Tanzanian community in line with the school’s philosophy.
We are currently sponsoring another student – Anethi – who is commencing, in 2025, a Bachelor of Banking and Finance in Tanzania.
International – Representation
In 2013 our club sponsored the chartering of the Rotary Club of Male’ in the Maldives. A Maldivian member of our club, completing a PhD in Adelaide, brought to our attention Rotary was not represented in the Maldives. We quickly filled the void! https://www.facebook.com/rotarymaldives
